Bad Gratitude Monday (on Tuesday)

Bad Gratitude Monday comes a day late this week, as I spent my actual Monday being quietly grateful for sleep, after traversing the country and arriving home at 5 a.m. Poor Mr. Wright didn't have the luxury of sleeping in, but I'm sure he was grateful for something.

Yesterday, I was grateful for:
  1. Safe flights to and from Baltimore.
  2. The support I received from readers in response to my hate mail.
  3. My mother, who stayed with my six kiddos while we were in DC and Baltimore last week.
What are YOU grateful for?

  1. Welcome home.

I'm grateful that the little man is no worse for ware after his tumble off the couch
AND especially for good friend supporting me through a ride down a not so nice memory lane.

  2. Glad y'all got home safe and sound. Nice meeting you and Mr. (W)right in DC. I guess I am grateful that my gonzo son is old enough to take care of himself and fly from the nest; however, he doesn't seem to have any firm plans to do so.

  3. Rebecca: Praise God that it wasn't more serious! That is, indeed something to be grateful for! As for those old memories... there's usually a reason we repress them.

Joe: Thanks for popping in, you darling man! I'm sure there's hope for your son... Did you see Failure to Launch? :)

  4. I'm grateful for hatemail! It proves to me that people are actually paying attention to what I have to say and they are taking time after paying attention to let my words stew around and fester until they just have to get it out!
