Bad Gratitude Monday (Feelin' Groovy!)

I'm taking a welcome break from feeling blue.

The past week has been amazing, and I'm ready for more of the same.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1. My brother, Bubba, and his thirteen years post-transplant recovery from erythroleukemia... AND everyone who helped spread the word about the national bone marrow donor registry "Marrowthon."

Today is the last day to register for FREE at BeTheMatch.org. They are covering the usual marrow typing test fees. Just answer a few basic questions, and they will send out a cheek swab kit for you to complete and return. That's it! It's so easy, and so important. Won't you register to save a life? Do it today, and it's free!

2. My wonderful husband, Mr. Wright, who somehow finds the grace to put up with me and our seven kids. He was absolutely worn out by yesterday afternoon:

The amazing mamas of Virtual Girls' Night Out, who provided me with a much-needed break from reality on Friday night and Saturday morning...

What are YOU grateful for?

"My brother had a bone marrow transplant but none of us were matches because he was adopted. He was able to use his own bone marrow but in retrospect, I think that was a mistake."
