I'm a little late posting my Bad Gratitude Monday (which I've decided to make a weekly event, except during weeks when I forget) today... Those of you who subscribe by email won't get it until Tuesday.
So? Sue me.

So... without further ado, here is my list of things I'm grateful for today:
- Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo! For some, that means tequila and guacamole. For our United Nations household (Have I ever told you guys about this? One of my kids is a Scandinavian poster child; blond hair, blue eyes. Four are Mexican-American, and the two babies are Eskimo. No wonder Reality Mom calls me the Angelina Jolie of Washington.), it means a celebration of heritage. Or possibly guacamole.
- The Bad Step-wife made a royal mistake yesterday, so I can continue to feel just a little bit holier-than-she for yet another day.
- I'm leaving on Sunday for Washington, D.C.! That means a week of playing tourist, seeing my National Association of REALTORS friends, and working diligently on edits for my novel. Did y'all know I am an expert on Washington, D.C. trips? Y
up... We go every May to deal with REALTOR business and lobby our law-makers. This year, we'll be attending the HOPE Awards and the Preakness. As an animal-rights activist, I'm not terribly into racing, but as a hat aficianado, I rarely pass up the opportunity to wear a great hat.
What are YOU grateful for today?
